This website is operated by AMZ Trend Ltd("AMZ Trend", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11035202, with its registered office at Unit 7, Crofton Drive, Greetwell Hollow, Lincoln, LN3 4NR, United Kingdom. AMZ Trend is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect
Visitors to our website
If you fill in our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, company name, company website (if given), and the details of your enquiry. We also record whether you've opted in to marketing contact and your acceptance of this privacy policy at the time of submission.
Our free SEO Checker tool
When you run a check on our SEO Checker page, the URL you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights API purely to generate the report shown to you. We don't store the URLs you check or the results against your identity.
Clients
If you become a client, we collect and hold further information necessary to deliver our services and run our business relationship with you — company details, contact names and emails, project scope and pricing, contracts, invoices and payment records, and any content, credentials or access you share with us to complete a project (for example, hosting or domain logins, shared via a password manager rather than in plain text wherever possible). This is held in our internal client management system, access to which is restricted to AMZ Trend staff who need it to do their job.
Job applicants and suppliers
If you contact us about work or a supplier relationship, we'll hold the information you send us for as long as reasonably needed to consider or manage that relationship.
3. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies — to keep our client dashboard signed in and to remember your cookie preferences on this site. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Open (also in the footer of any page) for full details and to change your preferences at any time.
4. How we use your data, and our legal basis
- Responding to your enquiry — to reply to messages sent through our contact form. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us, and taking steps prior to entering into a contract with you.
- Marketing communications— only where you've explicitly opted in via the marketing consent checkbox on our contact form. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw this at any time by emailing us.
- Delivering client work — managing projects, generating proposals, contracts, invoices and other documents, and communicating with you about your project. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Accounting and legal compliance — keeping invoice and payment records as required by UK tax law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Keeping our systems secure— maintaining login records for our client dashboard to protect against unauthorised access. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of our systems and our clients' data.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (contact form replies, client documents and invoices) on our behalf.
- Vercel — hosts this website and our client dashboard.
- Neon — hosts the Postgres database that stores client and dashboard account records.
- Google — processes the URLs entered into our SEO Checker tool via the PageSpeed Insights API.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on their standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
We may also disclose data where required by law, for example to comply with a court order or a request from a regulator.
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact form enquiries that don't become client work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client project and contract records: for the duration of the relationship plus 7 years, to meet UK accounting and tax obligations.
- Dashboard staff account and login records: for the duration of employment plus a reasonable period afterwards for security auditing.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (right of access).
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (right to rectification).
- Ask us to delete your data, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it (right to erasure).
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Object to us using your data for direct marketing at any time.
- Ask for your data in a portable format, where we process it based on your consent or a contract.
To exercise any of these rights, email florin.mercas@amztrend.co.uk. We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this site and our client dashboard, hashed passwords for dashboard accounts, and access controls limiting client data to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information to a high standard.
9. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new tool or service provider. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we do. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
